Congressman Mike Kelly will present an Export Achievement Certificate to Cranberry Township-based MECCO (www.mecco.com), a 127-year-old manufacturer of industrial part identification systems. MECCO provides marking and traceability solutions and helps its customers determine the best technology for system performance optimization.
MECCO worked with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Service and Catalyst Connection to enter new markets abroad. The company successfully entered the Mexican market by identifying a viable local partner and providing a product marking solution to a Fortune 500 manufacturer there, with the potential for multiple additional orders valued at more than $100,000 over the next several years.
MECCO will receive the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Achievement Certificate, recognizing companies that have used the U.S. Commercial Service to help them expand sales into foreign markets.
